I enjoy print making which beautifully captures the intricate details of nature, gives me the ability to make additional prints repeatedly in other colours proudly collective of editions.
The sea lily grows naturally on the sandy beaches on the island of Lemnos, which blossom at the end of summer giving of a distinctive aroma close to the similarity of jasmine. I was inspired by the pure white lilies growing wildly along the coast. I collected some of the blossoms to saver the softness and beauty of the lily.
My use of techniques like gel plate printing and Lino cutting adds depth and texture to my work. Love the colours created.
