During lockdown when time itself seemed to hold its breath I found solace in the rhythm of the waves. They were the only constant in the uncertainty. I saw them as sentient beings.
> They rose and fell with quiet conviction, ancient and tireless.
> One night, phosphorescence lit up the crests of the swells as if to say:
> “Hold fast fellow being, we are with you”.
