Tecla Spiller, Riding the Space -Time Continuum 2, Linocut reduction on Mulberry paper, 21 x 29.6cm, Ed of 8, 2025
In Riding the Space-Time Continuum 2, the movement of the figures through the fissure in the urban façade echo the trance journeys of San shamans, passing through cracks in the rock face into the spirit world. This breach in time and space proposes that beneath the surface lie undercurrents of memory, myth, and transformation —suggesting that identity itself may be a form of time travel.
