André Clements is a fine artist and computational media technologist based in Gauteng south Africa. André is the founder-organiser of the Johannesburg Contemporary Arts Discursive, a community-of-interest that facilitates and supports rigorous theoretical and practical discourse in artistic practice.
His works are in decidedly ‘post-digital’ paradigm making extensive use of digital technology and photography as well as traditional media. André has exhibited in group shows as well as in solo exhibitions. His artworks and writings have been featured in publications including SA ArtTimes, Beeld and ITs Art (France). His artworks form part of prominent international, local, photographic and corporate collections.
